anna.kevin {riverwoods.nathan}

Nathan is my mentor, friend, associate ~ and inspiration. Much of what I know and do I attribute to him as he took me under his wing so many years ago when I first began shooting; he and I have chances each year to work for and with each other and it’s a great relationship. For Kevin and Anna’s event, Nathan came up and shot and the portfolio is superb, as always, when people choose the Riverwoods; you’ll see some guest shots in here as I always love it when people opt for that photobooth option. Anna and Kevin, what a great day it turned out to be!

edna.jeff {married}

Classy classy classy. That is a perfect word to describe Edna and Jeff. I can’t think of anything they didn’t do to thank their friends and family – and even their vendors – on their wedding day. Selflessness ebbs from them as they are so quick to put others before themselves and so quick to laugh and enjoy every moment of every day.

We had an absolutely delightful time at the Sheraton; the staff is spectacular and the location is one of the greatest in San Diego. If anyone’s looking for a great venue, I would HIGHLY recommend taking at look at the services, views, and, again, the staff an what’s offered there – it’s great and has quickly become one of my favorite places to shoot because of the aesthetics and people that are drawn there.

You’ll see a few tender moments here; Edna’s reaction to Jeff’s first look at her; you’ll see Enda walking down the aisle with her sweet father; you’ll see some crazy randomness with their friends and family and their Guest Shoot. To top it off, they did a, shall we say, very ‘non-traditional’ first dance (you’ll see the shot below); after all, any couple that plays, ‘Walking on Sunshine’ as they make their way from the altar has to be a blast, right?

Edna, Jeff. Thank you. Enjoy a few weeks of decompression before you make your trip to Paris ~

I say that a Destination Event this time of year is the way to go!

manu.ashley {married}

Wow – what a beautiful day in Vegas! Manu and Ashley are classy — start to finish, it was thank you after thank you after thank you to their friends and family and vendors; they make everyone feel like a million bucks. Classy is the best word to describe them. Those characteristics, coupled with Manu’s playing college football and Ashley competing collegiately on the volleyball court and you have just a tremendous couple.

I shot with Ryan on this one – I love that man. We have a ball anytime we get to work together; he does tremendous work and he’s a true professional. We did a little Guest Shoot following the small luau program presented by the little cousins (you’ll see one of my favorite silhouette shots of their dance below).

We headed out to the East deserts from some great shooting; nothing beats a gorgeous couple in red rock country and blue sky. My wife has voted them (well, mainly Manu, sine he and I look very much alike) as the best looking couple of the season.

Enjoy your Mexican Riviera cruise, Mafi’s, and enjoy this sneak peek upon your return.

marin.paul {married}

Meet the Suttons at 19degrees. :) It was a cooold day in Salt Lake City that greeted them and their families, but we had a ball on this (cold) shoot. I had a chance to work again with David Perry Films this weekend. Great man – tremendous company if you’re looking for superb video.

The slideshow (wait a sec for it to load) has about 40pics on it, if you want a look at the whole day; otherwise, the images below are some of my favs. I just loved these guys and their families – so warm and cordial. You’ll see the love and fun in the Wedding Guests Shoot below.

Paul and Marin go together ‘like peas and carrots’ as they say down south. Enjoy the sneak peek and enjoy Bear Lake you two!

Dan and I had a great time in Watsonville with May and Bryan!

Meet Kate and Noah, members of the USC Track and Field Team. Their coach said they tried hard to keep their relationship a secret, but it didn’t work too well as it was so obvious they were heading down a road towards a lifetime together.

San Clemente beckoned with it’s typical Fall weather and perfect West Coast lighting. We had a ball with the wedding party and their friends and family the entire day.

Here’s a sneak peek of a few favs from the day!

You guys enjoy Carmel and I’ll give you a buzz with some proof images in a few weeks, OK?

Enjoy!
